Kwankwaso ya yi watsi da ikirarin wasu ‘yan adawa da ke cewa za su iya karɓe mulki daga gwamnatin APC a Kano, yana mai cewa irin waɗannan kalamai ba su da tushe balle makama. Armed bandits on Wednesday night stormed the residence of a CSI officer, Muttaƙa Lukman, in Kaura Namoda town of Zamfara State and abducted two of his wives alongside five of his children. The Zamfara State House of Assembly on Thursday screened and confirmed Professor Zakari Yahaya Abdullahi Gusau for appointment as Commissioner in the state government. The confirmation was carried out during the Assembly’s plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki, at the Assembly complex in Gusau. The development followed a formal request sent to the House by Governor Dauda Lawal through the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar M. Nakwada. The letter seeking legislative approval for the appointment was read before lawmakers by the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Mahmud Aliyu. Announcing the decision of the House, Speaker Rt. Hon. Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki confirmed the approval and congratulated the nominee on his successful screening and confirmation. The announcement was contained in a statement signed by Bello Madaro Kurya, Chief Press Secretary to the Zamfara State House of Assembly.
