BREAKING: Kano Will Deliver Massive Votes for Tinubu Whether Counted or Not — Abdullahi Abbas

Former Kano State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Abbas, has declared that Kano State will deliver overwhelming votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu “whether the votes are counted or not, accepted or not.”

Abbas made the controversial statement while Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf was casting his vote during the APC presidential primary election held at the governor’s polling unit in Diso, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State.

The primary election featured President Tinubu and his challenger, Stanley Osifo, as contestants for the APC presidential ticket ahead of the next general election.

Abbas’ remarks have already sparked reactions in political circles, with observers describing the statement as highly provocative amid growing political tension ahead of the 2027 elections.

The event drew party loyalists, political stakeholders, and supporters who gathered at the polling centre to witness the voting process. Kano remains one of Nigeria’s most influential political strongholds, making every political development in the state significant to the national landscape.
