Bloodbath in Zamfara: Bandits Storm Damri Community, Kill 10 Residents

Armed bandits have reportedly killed no fewer than 10 people following a deadly attack on Damri Ward in Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara state.

According to local sources, the attackers stormed the community, unleashing terror on residents and leaving several families in mourning after the violent assault.

The tragic incident has thrown the area into grief, with residents describing the attack as devastating and heartbreaking. 

The latest attack adds to the growing insecurity in parts of northwestern Nigeria, where armed groups have continued to carry out deadly raids, kidnappings, and killings despite ongoing security operations.

The United States has formally withdrawn from the World Health Organization (WHO), a move that strips the UN health agency of one of its largest financial contributors and marks a major shift in global health diplomacy.
