Gunmen Abduct CSI Officer’s Two Wives, Five Children in Zamfara

Armed bandits on Wednesday night stormed the residence of a CSI officer, Muttaƙa Lukman, in Kaura Namoda town of Zamfara State and abducted two of his wives alongside five of his children.

According to local sources, the attackers invaded the officer’s home late at night and carried out the operation without resistance before fleeing to an unknown destination with the victims.

The incident has heightened fears among residents of Kaura Namoda, an area that has witnessed repeated attacks and kidnappings linked to armed criminal groups operating across parts of Zamfara State.

As of the time of filing this report, security authorities had yet to issue an official statement regarding the abduction or any ongoing rescue efforts.

Residents have continued to call on security agencies and the government to intensify efforts aimed at tackling the growing insecurity in the region.
