Zamfara Residents Need Compassionate Leadership, Says Marafa's Media Office

The Office of Senator Kabir Garba Marafa has called for a leadership style that prioritises the welfare and concerns of the people of Zamfara State, stressing that residents are grappling with poverty, unemployment and insecurity.

In a statement signed by the Director General of New Media, Mansur M. Haruna, the office described Senator Marafa as a leader who places the needs of the people above all else. It argued that true leadership is measured by empathy, understanding and the willingness to address the challenges facing citizens rather than pursuing personal interests.

The statement further expressed concern that there appears to be a growing disconnect between the people of Zamfara and the current administration, urging leaders to engage more closely with residents, understand their hardships and take practical steps to improve their living conditions.

It concluded that effective governance should focus on responding to the aspirations and welfare of the people, particularly during periods of economic hardship and security challenges.
