Rep. Gummi Donates Relief Materials to Banditry Victims in Zamfara

Gusau, Zamfara State – The Member representing Gummi/Bukkuyum Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Sulaiman Abubakar Gummi, has extended humanitarian support to victims displaced by bandit attacks in Gummi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

As part of the intervention, the lawmaker distributed 50 bags of assorted grains to displaced families affected by the persistent insecurity in the area. The donation is aimed at easing the hardship faced by residents who have been forced to flee their homes due to repeated attacks by armed bandits.

The latest gesture comes shortly after a similar relief effort by Hon. Gummi in Bukkuyum Local Government Area, where he provided assistance to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) struggling with the impact of insecurity.

Speaking on the intervention, the federal lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to supporting vulnerable members of his constituency, particularly those affected by the ongoing security challenges in Zamfara State.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the assistance, describing it as timely support amid difficult living conditions. Community leaders also commended the lawmaker for standing with displaced families and responding to their urgent needs.

The distribution of relief materials forms part of ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to communities affected by banditry across the Gummi/Bukkuyum Federal Constituency.
