Fresh Uncertainty Hits ADC as Atiku, Kwankwaso Eye Strategic Defection

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and ex-Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso are reportedly considering leaving the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections due to internal party disputes and leadership uncertainties.

Sources say the two opposition figures are exploring the possibility of returning to two alternative political parties as a strategic move to secure their political future before the polls.

The United States has formally withdrawn from the World Health Organization (WHO), a move that strips the UN health agency of one of its largest financial contributors and marks a major shift in global health diplomacy.
