Former Jigawa Governorship Candidate Sen. Nakudu Dumps APC After Strategic Political Review

A former governorship candidate in Jigawa State, Sabo Mohammed Nakudu, has formally announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The decision was conveyed in an official letter addressed to the APC chairman of his Sundimina ward in Birnin Kudu, signaling the end of his membership in the ruling party at the grassroots level.

Senator Nakudu stated that his departure followed extensive consultations and careful consideration of his political future, as well as the interests and expectations of his supporters.

He emphasized that the move was the result of a thorough review of the current political landscape and his long-term aspirations.

Although he did not immediately disclose his next political destination, political observers believe the development could reshape alignments ahead of future elections in Jigawa and the broader North-West region.
