A woman who recently drew public attention after giving birth to quintuplets in Kano State has died following health complications.

The Kano State Ministry of Health confirmed the development through its spokesperson, Nabulisi Abubakar Kofar Na’isa, in a statement issued to Premier Radio, Kano.

According to the statement, Hafsatu Yusuf passed away as a result of excessive bleeding shortly after delivering the five babies, an incident that has left her family and members of the public in grief. Officials said additional information regarding the health condition of the five babies and plans for their continued care will be communicated to the public in due course.
