“Give Him a Second Term” — Influential Sarkin Fulani Rallies Support for Governor Dauda Lawal


The Sarkin Fulanin Zamfara, Hon Dr Shehu Ahmed, former member of the House of Representatives who represented Maru and Bungudu Federal Constituency, has commended Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, for completing the construction of the Gusau Airport, describing it as a remarkable achievement for the state.

The Sarkin Fulani made this statement during an interview with Zancen Yau 247, where he noted that the completion of the airport project is a significant milestone that will drive sustainable development and economic growth in Zamfara State.

He further explained that the operationalization of the airport would ease the difficulties faced by intending pilgrims from Zamfara and neighboring states, who previously had to travel to states such as Katsina and Sokoto to embark on their Hajj journeys.

Hon Dr Shehu Ahmed emphasized that the airport would also boost commercial activities within the state, enabling traders to import goods more conveniently and attracting investors and visitors to Zamfara.

According to him, the project stands as one of the major accomplishments of Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration, whom he described as a committed and determined leader with genuine intentions for the progress and prosperity of Zamfara State.

In conclusion, the Sarkin Fulani called on the people of Zamfara State to support Governor Dauda Lawal for a second term in office, so that he can continue implementing development projects that will positively impact the lives of citizens.
