BREAKING: Hotels Fully Booked in Abuja Ahead of APC National Convention

All hotels in Abuja have reportedly been fully booked ahead of the highly anticipated national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as party members, delegates, and supporters flood the nation’s capital, Zancen Yau 247 authoritatively gathered.

Industry sources disclosed to Zancen Yau 247 on Friday that the surge in arrivals linked to the ruling party’s convention has created an acute accommodation shortage across the city, with hotel rooms, guest houses, and serviced apartments reaching maximum capacity days before the event.

Hotel operators confirmed that bookings were made weeks in advance, leaving virtually no available rooms for latecomers. In an unusual development, even vacant properties and spaces originally earmarked for future hotel projects have reportedly been reserved to accommodate the influx of visitors attending the convention.

The development has been most evident in key districts such as Maitama, Wuse, Garki, and Asokoro, where many delegates and political stakeholders traditionally lodge during major national gatherings. Hospitality stakeholders say room rates have also surged due to the overwhelming demand.

The APC national convention is expected to attract thousands of party faithful, political leaders, observers, and media personnel from across Nigeria, making it one of the largest political gatherings in recent times.

Security agencies and city authorities are said to be on high alert to manage traffic, ensure safety, and maintain order as Abuja prepares to host the massive influx of visitors for the convention.

Observers confided in Zancen Yau 247 that the situation underscores the scale and significance of the upcoming APC convention, which is expected to shape key leadership decisions within the ruling party.
