Diplomatic Tensions Escalate Between South Africa and Israel

South Africa has expelled Israel’s deputy ambassador, declaring him persona non grata and giving him 72 hours to leave the country amid diplomatic disputes. Pretoria cited insulting social-media posts about President Cyril Ramaphosa and breaches of diplomatic protocol as the reason for the move.

In response, Israel reciprocated by expelling South Africa’s senior diplomat in Tel Aviv, deepening the bilateral rift.

BREAKING: US Finally Withdraws from WHO

The United States has formally withdrawn from the World Health Organization (WHO), a move that strips the UN health agency of one of its largest financial contributors and marks a major shift in global health diplomacy. The withdrawal follows an executive order signed a year ago by US President Donald Trump, who repeatedly accused the WHO of being overly “China-centric” in its handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
