BREAKING: “Zamfara Has Never Had It This Good” — Sarkin Fulanin Zamfara Endorses Gov. Dauda Lawal for Second Term


 
In a strong and sweeping endorsement that is already stirring political conversations across Zamfara State, the Sarkin Fulanin Zamfara and former House of Assembly member, Alhaji Shehu Ahmed, has declared Governor Dauda Lawal as the best-performing governor in the history of the state.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with ZANCEN YAU 247 on the current political climate in Zamfara, the former lawmaker who represented Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency between 2019 and 2023 said no other leader deserves to govern Zamfara again except the incumbent.
According to him, Governor Dauda Lawal has achieved what previous administrations could not, especially in addressing long-standing welfare issues. He revealed that the governor has cleared gratuity and pension arrears, bringing relief to retired civil servants who had suffered for years.

Alhaji Shehu Ahmed also praised the governor’s massive intervention in the education sector, noting that nearly all dilapidated schools across the state have been renovated, giving students a better learning environment.

On infrastructure, the former lawmaker said state and feeder roads have been repaired, while Gusau, the state capital, has undergone a visible transformation.
“Anyone who has not visited Gusau for a long time may not even recognize the streets today,” he said, pointing to extensive road repairs and urban renewal projects.

He further described Governor Lawal’s leadership style as unique and unmatched, adding that the administration is making serious efforts to tackle insecurity despite constitutional limitations on the control of security agencies.

While acknowledging that the governor does not have full control over the police and the military, Alhaji Shehu Ahmed disclosed that Governor Lawal is actively consulting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring lasting peace to Zamfara.
“If he had full control, insecurity would have been history by now,” he stressed.

Concluding his remarks, the Sarkin Fulanin Zamfara gave the governor his 100 percent support, boldly claiming that Dauda Lawal has become “the choice of every household in Zamfara State.”

As political activities gradually intensify, this endorsement is expected to further reshape the political landscape of Zamfara ahead of future elections.

BREAKING: US Finally Withdraws from WHO

The United States has formally withdrawn from the World Health Organization (WHO), a move that strips the UN health agency of one of its largest financial contributors and marks a major shift in global health diplomacy.
