BREAKING NEWS: Abdullahi Mai Kano Tarauni Elected as New ADC Chairman in Kano State


Hon Abdullahi Mai Kano Tarauni has been elected as the new Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano State.

Reports indicate that the election was conducted peacefully, with the participation of key party stakeholders and delegates representing various local government areas across the state. His emergence comes at a time when the party is intensifying efforts to strengthen its structure and expand its political influence in Kano State and beyond.

Political observers believe the new leadership could usher in renewed momentum for the ADC as it seeks to play a more prominent role in the political landscape of Kano State and Nigeria at large.

The United States has formally withdrawn from the World Health Organization (WHO), a move that strips the UN health agency of one of its largest financial contributors and marks a major shift in global health diplomacy.
