Zamfara Government Opens Online Recruitment Portal for Nursing and Midwifery Positions

Gusau, Zamfara State – June 9, 2026

The Zamfara State Government has officially opened its online recruitment portal for qualified indigenous candidates seeking employment in Nursing and Midwifery positions across the state’s healthcare sector.

The announcement was made by the Zamfara Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA), which disclosed that the recruitment exercise commenced on June 8, 2026, and will remain open until June 22, 2026.

According to the agency, interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the designated online recruitment portal before the deadline of 12:00 midnight on the closing date.

ZITDA urged prospective candidates to carefully review all eligibility requirements, application guidelines, and instructions before completing and submitting their applications.

The agency emphasized that only qualified indigenous applicants who meet the prescribed criteria should apply for the available positions.

Applicants have also been advised to download and securely keep a copy of their application slip immediately after successful submission, as it will be required during subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

The exercise forms part of the state government's efforts to strengthen healthcare service delivery by recruiting qualified nursing and midwifery professionals into the health sector.
